Our class has a very talented and artistic quilter.  She has shown in quilt shows internationally and US.  Her and her three sisters are all avid quilters.  The following photos are some of the work done by Frances Alford.  If you would like to see more of her work she will be showing at the Houston International Quilt Festival at George Brown Convention Center at the end of October 2005.  

This won honorable mention in Tokyo and first place in Dallas in Group Quilts

This was in the judged part of the Houston Show last year (2004)

This was done last spring with Sallie, Anne, & Lily, my sisters while we were attending the quilt show in The Hague, Netherlands. 

I did this one six inch block a week for my 57th year.
