Torch Party

This may appear to be a well mannered group of girl scouts or something like that, but if you look at everything in the picture I am not so sure.  First there is a gas can in the foreground, my guess is they torched the house behind them shortly after this photo was taken.  The following culprits have been identified -

Background: Another Unknown Dog

It looks like Lonnie is about to get beat up by the two behind her, and girl # 3 in the 3rd row is completely surprised by something, maybe  Sandra.  And how did the one boy get in there, in later years he would be considered lucky, but not at this age.

Fourth Grade - I got the camera - That's a girl ( Pam Stelzer) and I'm not getting any closer than I have to.

This photo was in the November 25, 1959 Lions Roar, the school paper for Landrum Jr. High School. 

Bobbie Alford had been chosen as one of twenty-five teenage girls for the Foley's Soda-Set Advisory Board.  She has always wanted to be an actress or a model chiefly so she can go to Hollywood.

Paul Fry claims to have fallen into a meat grinder at age 5.  When ask what experience in junior high meant the most to him he replied, "Coming face to face with the beatnik race"

I didn't make this up - that is what the paper said.

OK until I get some pictures from somebody else, you will have to put up with pictures of the cute Maynard kid.

So we got some more, I just couldn't bring myself to take this one off.
